BCA National Training Group (BCA National) is a Registered Training Organisation established in 1999 by Bruce Callaghan & Associates (BCA) and Paul Harny (Organisational Change Consultants).
Bruce Callaghan & Associates (BCA) is a successful management consultancy with 20 years experience that specialises in strategic/business planning, managed change, board recruitment, executive coaching and also training programs. One of the most successful training programs for BCA was the the highly regarded Management Development Program for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people (MDPA) for senior State and Commonwealth public servants in NSW. This program was originally designed and developed in 1991 by Bruce Callaghan for the Office of the Director of Equal Opportunity in Public Employment and was accredited as a Certificate IV in State Government Administration. This program was then upgraded to a Diploma of Government (Management) in 2001.
BCA National now has over 40 courses on our scope and has successfully trained thousands of students.
Initially we developed a partnership with Catholic Education Offices in NSW and QLD to deliver the Certificate III in Education Support to school support officers, in particular the Teachers Aide Special strand. BCANTG are still the preferred provider with regional offices of the CEO to offer this course.
In 2000 our Queensland office was opened. We now specialise in delivering nationally accredited training for the community service sector, the education sector, government departments and private organisations. All of our training programs are customised to meet the specific requirements of our clients.
In the last 2 years the company has experienced significant growth as a result of a new organisation structure and new delivery model.
Because of the linkage between the management consultancy and the training company, we have the capacity to address both the context and the content of company based personal and organisational learning. BCA National uses flexible design and delivery for training courses and we are able to tailor our programs to the specific needs of participants and business clients.
BCA National is a strongly value driven organisation which seeks to add value to training through working on motivation and strengthening participants insights into values and culture of the organisation. We seek to provide participants with the confidence and self esteem to take charge of their professional lives, by recognising and addressing the personal limitations and challenges and identifying the obstacles they must overcome within organisations undergoing change.
